Blomberg

From Denmark to Cincinnati: The Blomberg Family Story

The Blomberg family traced here has roots in Denmark and northern Germany, with family connections to Faaborg, Copenhagen, and Rendsburg before Wilhelm Clement Theodor Blomberg emigrated to the United States in 1860. He settled in Cincinnati, where he worked as an artist and fresco painter and raised a family with Catherine Tandrop. Their daughter Ella Blomberg LeBlond continues my direct line, linking the Blomberg family to the LeBlond and Farquhar branches of my family.

  1. I found your site while researching the Richard Knight family. He is descended from Henry and Sarah Knight of Devizes. They are my husband’s ancestors. Thought I would say hello to a cybercousin. Thank you for your posts.
