From The LeBlond Book by C.T. Courtney Lewis:

86. The Image Boy. Le Blond, No. 49.
In this, the first of the series, we see a delightful old village lane, and at the far end of it the ivy-clad church tower. At the cottage door, in the immediate foreground, the image boy—one of a now extinct species—is endeavoring to dispose of his art treasures to some admiring women and children; whilst the old hen in her coop on the left is quite unconcerned about anything except the gathering of food for her young brood, some of whom are staring in wonderment at the image group. The only other figure shown is a woman approaching in the distance. The colouring, when unfaded, is excellent.

SIZE, Width 6 3/4 inches. Length 5 1/4 inches. R. £2 10s. The print is signed on the bottom left centre.
